Keeping with the whole comfort zone, simple portrait thing, I decided to quickly throw this one together!
All I really knew was that I wanted to make something yellow, really. So I ended up pairing together those yellows together with a dark skin tone, which I think goes really well together. By narrowing down my whole paint into just a simple portrait, I've been able to really just focus on the render at large instead of worrying how much time the whole thing will take, or how important one part is over another. The effects in the background are a lot of fun to make, too.
Favourite part is probably the hair, though, it's just so... lemony. Only real complaint I have is that this probably could've been finished more quickly and that it'd be nice to just see more of the design, really, neither of which were goals in mind while making it.
Pretty happy with it, it's a good break from harder paints.
