I've been having so much fun working on these fanarts. The effects have been a ton of fun to work on too.
Like I've been writing for the past little while, my main focus these days is to trust my own instincts and just kind of draw intuitively without looking too much at other artists' work. It's really paying off I think, in both the sense that I really like how things have turned out lately, but also that the whole process has been fun these days too.
With Barbara here, I learned how important it is to tilt the sketch on purpose to create a stronger dynamic. I also managed to get some twisting into the pose, which helps add a lot to the sense of motion too- I'm usually not very good at it, so I'm happy that I'm getting some of it here.
