Commission Work - James

This was a lovely commission to work on. A photo was provided and it was requested that it keep the same lighting. It introduced really nifty challenges, as I have not done a photo study in a very long time. I don't think I've ever actually sat down to do a real photo study, to be honest, I mostly just know the concepts behind photo studies.
I was specifically told that a background for this would be done another time by another artist, so we've left out a background for this one.
She also had these really nifty tribal-esque braided(?) earrings on this one, and it was hard whether to do just a suggestion of colour or to try and more clearly depict it, which could draw too much attention to them. I decided to keep the smudgey colour dynamic instead of trying to push the detail.
We're coming close to the end of commissions! I decided to cut off the existing waitlist because the amount of work is starting to really affect me.
We also still have the sketchdump PSDs to provide at the end of the month!
