This one was a lot of work!
Layers of armour aren't quite my strong suit yet, and there was a lot to take in when putting this one together. Thankfully, Vinestra provided a lot of feedback to make sure that things turned out the way they were supposed to, which saved a lot of trouble in areas I wasn't sure about or wasn't looking at correctly.
This illustration used a colour method, but I think a greyscale might be the way to go in future works akin to this one. It would save a lot of trouble with the metal rendering and the like, especially. We're actually going to be looking into greyscale again for the next little bit of work to try and figure out if a relatively simple greyscale is what we need to push into the next level of visual quality!
I can't help but repeat myself about this- I won't be able to provide that many PSDs of personal work as I'm currently flooded with things to catch up with. I'm hoping that once commissions are done, we'll get that floodgate opened.
