NEW STAFF - Nasty & Nice
Added 2025-10-15 11:13:33 +0000 UTCIn Episode 3 we met two new members of staff. The sinister Mr Moley and the delightful Mr Hebden. This two creations of our wonderful DM Midge being introduced in the same episode was fantastic. Both of these characters felt exactly what it was like to have a good teacher and bad teacher at school, and what a profound impact each can have on you as a child.
The really cool thing is that even though they had very different approaches to teaching they both loved their subject.
Livie really knocked it out of the park with these two designs. But a massive shout out to the final version of Mr Hebden, who conceptually was the hardest one to get our heads around. But he came out just like one of his crafts... perfectly formed.
We have now met all the teachers for Series 1. Who made the best first impression?

I like to think on days where the cubes don’t behave or if he’s just burnt out reconfiguring himself, Mr Hebden switches to whiteboard mode and he’s just gotten really good at quick sketches from all the blueprints for crafts
