Sea Dweller - 2021

Greetings dear Patrons!

Hope you guys have a wonderful weekend! I'd like to share the colored version of the previous sketch entitled "Sea Dweller", although the theme and captured scene is kinda cold and chill, this one was still fresh from the oven.

I'm pleased on how this one turned out in colors, the base design of the Wrym Dragon is mine, I did it on the fly while I'm sketching it. Of course, I've looked up to plenty of wyrm dragon arts on the internet as my references, to get the feel on how it should look like. I was taught to look up for references when drawing something new, especially when it's the first time. The artist's own unique style will develop by itself with time and practice (a lot of practice). :)

Now.. the colors, I've always used soft and earthy colors in my paintings. This time I tried to be out of my comfort zone and used some of the most brilliant colors for the wyrm dragon. I think it turned out quite beautiful.. haha

Anyway, I hope you guys like it! Our collie seems to be enjoying his free ride back to shorelines where he was appreciating the coral reefs, it seems that the wrym dragon was just tasting certain part of him and let him go, plus.. I think anthro collie is not the dragon's food. I heard they only eat small fish. :3
