[School Artwork] Fine Alt - 2017

Hello my dear Patrons,

How are you? I hope you are doing fine, sorry for the lack of new content. I was having a hard times a couple weeks ago, I had a huge call off for my artistic expansion in real life outside the fandom. :c

First of all, I made this post only for my Patrons! <3

I want to tell you guys a story, as some of you may know, I'm a fine art graduate, I took major in Fine Art, I got my BFA degree in 2014 and MFA degree not so long ago in 2018, more info about real life me here on Wikifur. Anyway.. so, the major thing for a 'grad' artist is to do at least a solo art exhibition in an art gallery once. After I graduated in 2018, I've been saving 'resources' to have my own solo art exhibition, long story short I decided to give it a go a couple weeks ago but my plan went totally side way and I had to cancel it, it was a mess! My exhibition proposal that I gave to a couple of local art galleries were declined with reason that my artworks (not the knotty ones! The school works ones!) are not suitable for contemporary social environment. There isn't really freedom of expression for local artists here on my region, it's full of forgery and tailored stuffs... and they say artist's work must be pure and honest! What a bs. xD

This is one of the reason I'm fond and enjoy just being full commercial showcasing my expertise to the real good people, you guys are basically what keeps me alive! Your generous support as my active Patrons, all the commission works, and I just love the furry community + I get to draw nice dog arts and share the story of our collie-shepherd couple! :D

That's all for the background story! I'm doing okay though, just getting back to my regular pace in creating new content for my Patreon, maybe someday I'll get to have my own solo art exhibition... somewhere else. :p

Okay! Now, regarding this school artwork. This is not shared anywhere else except my personal Facebook handle. This artwork entitled "Fine Alt",  was one of my school work I did during my master's course, the final artwork was a printed t-shirts (8 pieces in total because of I was limited in resource). You can see it on the post above including the documentaries when it was exhibited in a prestigious gallery alongside with my fellow colleagues! Love that exhibition! This artwork was featured in a local newspaper too which was a cool thing.

Anyway, I don't need to show the full description/concept of the artwork since the original writings was in Indonesian but I can tell that 

"Fine Alt" was made to make a critical respond about discrimination towards minorities and how I interpreted the wonderful diversity with various dog breeds sided by real person figures with blurred eyes in purpose to nudge that hypocrisy of human nature. That was the core concept of this artwork.

You know, if I have to interpret my own school artwork, we choose our own character, anything that fits to our personality, good to go. We find our own fine alternative. Title was obvious pun from "Fine Art" because I like puns. xD

The weather has been unfriendly here at the moment and I'm feeling under the weather, moreover I'm still working on a couple commission works, paid work drawings has to comes first. Hope to get all of my work drawings done before the end of February. QwQ

In March I will be focusing my time only to create new collie-shepherd artworks, I really miss drawing my couple! :')
