[STORY COM] Invitation - Sketch Drawing

Hi Everyone!

I'd like to share my latest commission piece that I'm working on, this is a story commission for one of my Patron featuring our lovely anthro Collie-Shepherd couple and the Commissioner's Anthro Wolfdog character.

There will be a short story accompanying the illustration later on the colored version, for now here's the preview story :

"The time shows at early in the morning, the pair seems to get up earlier and the two looks very busy, the shepherd with his shorts walked out to the local grocery market to buy some food ingredients and the collie is busy cleaning the house, it seems they are expecting someone to come by their house.."

Here's the full story that the commissioner wrote for us to read :

Invitation

"It's beautiful late-summer, sunny day with clouds promising some rain. Wolfdog just get out of train and stretches his legs after a long travel. He thought about coming by car, but this nice weather without exhausting big heat and nice reason of his travel gave him the idea to travel by train. He stranded on the small station and thought about right way to his new friends who invited him to their home. He met them on one convention where he was for the first time and he was wondered what for a nice talk they had together. the Wolfdog is not one from these who can easily talk with new creatures, but this Collie and Shepherd couple made very nice and relaxing feelings to him."

"Hmm, I hope I'm going on the right way, the last thing what I want is to come late."

Wolfdog slowly walked by small road in the way out of the village, he enjoyed the view around him. After several minutes he discovered small house that fits the description of his new friends. He was glad that he took the right way, however he started to be a bit nervous. As usual as he should meet with new, almost strange creatures. Wolfdog came to the door of the house and knocked. He had tendency to cast down his ears, but he breathed in and tried to be as relaxed as possible. After around half minute he started to get nervous again, no one opened the door, no one answered.

"Great, I guess I got the wrong house." 

He looked around and everything was absolutely how they described. So he knocked again. Then he heard some noises from the other side of the house. So he went down from the entrance stairs and went around the house. Then he saw the Shepherd and the Collie preparing some food, cleaning table, and the chairs on their back porch.

"Ehm, hello there." said the Wolfdog.

They looked a bit surprised, but immediately answered the greetings. They stopped working and came to welcome Wolfdog by shaking paws. This simple gesture with friendly look into the eyes made Wolfdog relaxed after few seconds.

"Hello there, we did not expect you to arrive soon." said the Shepherd.

"I will prepare some tea and food for us, are you OK with siting outside?" said the Collie.

The Wolfdog smiles and nodded, suggesting that he, siting outside with something to drink and they spend the rest of the noon chatting with each other.
