Yeah, why hasn't he figured out a spell to deliberately search for the things he wants? What he should have done before trying to loot a town. Can't search for the good stuff because it is hidden? Wtf is that argument are you a mage or are you a mage?

You can still decide if you want to use it or not, but I think this last one could really use a bit of work. As to the chapters themselves - The entire thing was one long-ass journey to his destination. Get to those dragon eggs already! The rest of the objects of fascination can wait. Focus on the objective. The story makes me want to reach in grab the MC and forcefully turn his head towards the objective and say: "Dragon egg's now, explore fascinating objects and plunder the place for general valuable goods later. Don't bother with anything that isn't directly in your path, and won't slow you markedly."

If anything, it'd just be harmful since he'd be unable to adapt easily to the huge boost in strength or speed he gets from it. In the case of int / wis it'd just give him more magic and to be honest if his regen rate is below Daenerys, then he really needs to stop being an idiot and just use points to raise his stats.

2023-03-19 07:44:52 +0000 UTCThanks for the chapters! Three things really stuck out to me in your most recent chapters. First of all, the MC freaking out about ghosts felt kind of strange. For a literal multiversal entity, the concept of undead spirits shouldn't be surprising. Was it just because he didn't expect them to be present on Planetos? Why? He is already aware of a significant amount of dark magic; what are a few ghosts compared to shadow demons? His being so afraid of them felt strange as well. Not even running some tests on one made the MC look like a bit of a coward. The first time he encounters a foe that's not a baseline human he runs away in fright. Secondly, is your ASOIAF AU? Planetos Dragons are literally just giant lizards who can breathe fire, more a wyvern than a dragon. They are definitely magical creatures, but to make them such significant magical entities felt strange (unless you are doing something new with the setting). Finally, and this is just a pet peeve of mine, his not using his points is driving me insane. Keeping a stock of reserve points for emergencies makes sense, I suppose, but hoarding more than 250 points!?!?! Why!?!?! Granted he doesn't actually need that extra strength, but why is he purposefully nerfing himself? At his level, he should have a good idea of what kind of build he wants to have.
