Cover Steps
Added 2019-06-27 00:47:15 +0000 UTCi thought I’d share the ”steps“ for this Tangle & Whisper cover.
This was the sketch (one of four I think) pitched to the editor. He liked this one.
I tweaked Whisper a bit and did the line art. These are two line layers and a shading layer.
Then there’s the flat color. The back and foreground are separate.
And the final! After the original sketch was approved I went straight into it and submitted the final color to the editor. Sometimes you’re sending each step to them for approval (especially for interior art.), So after I was done I had to do a correction on her wispon ^^;
i really hope to do more Sonic soon. I still want to try and do pages on paper again, I miss that. Anyways, hope you liked this!
