Princess Beach Party - Abandoned
Added 2020-06-30 18:59:43 +0000 UTCSo this piece comes with an interesting story. In 2012 I was commissioned by a gentleman via email who offered to pay me a hefty amount to draw a Princess Beach Party. He even put down a nice deposit for the sketch.
I would send him the roughs of the individual princesses which he approved, and after ten roughs, suddenly I stopped hearing from him. I emailed him over and over, and never got any more replies. I assumed that he just wasn't interested anymore and had moved on. Eventually, with no more contact, I dropped the commission and put it aside.
A few years later a friend of mine became really curious about the story, and did some digging. She eventually uncovered a story about a man with the same name who had passed away in a car accident around the same time. We never got 100% confirmation, but since I never heard from him again I can only assume that's what happened. So this piece is dedicated to him.
