Comparing Ellie to Joffrey had me dead š As someone who played the game I enjoyed the show but Iām really disappointed with the writing choices that deviated from the game version of Ellie. She is more vicious, calculated, and skilled in the game. More importantly, the story is as much about revenge as it is about watching someone we love choose to become a monster. We lose a lot of that second piece in the writing, including seeing how Ellie struggles with her growing capacity for violence for the sake of revenge. All in all, I love yalls thoughts and very much enjoyed your reactions.
