My favorite episode thus far. I have to say that usually my favorite part of your reaction videos is your analysis afterwards, but it feels so awkward with this series because it’s so clear that my boy @nupefromdaville is so completely disengaged. I know you guys are putting out a lot of content. And I know you gotta return urgent, text messages, but the most fun analysis especially when you guys disagree is when there is at least agreement on whether there should even be a show like Andor. I love so much of your content that while I’m not gonna like all of it there’s enough of it that I find plenty to watch and enjoy. But this show is never going to be the type of show where the action is purely kinetic. The action in this show is in the witty dialog, creating new languages, establishing a grocery store for the sole purpose of showing us alien food. Instead of retreading a series is a storm troopers they get mowed down every episode, the action in Andor is purely about how the foundation for revolution is created through the long slog of suffering, sacrifice, having the right leadership, slowly emerge, and the right soldiers learn to fight. I understand that Andor is not gonna be everybody’s cup of tea, but that doesn’t mean that it’s slow or that it lacks action or tension, it’s just different than what is typically forced upon us so that we don’t have to think that deeply. At least in my opinion. You guys are such a great team, but I have now learned that the analysis is just going to bring me down a little bit, no matter how entertaining I found the show because there’s not gonna be some surprise cameo by whomever. Anyway, I am a fully subscribed @nupefromdaville fan girl, so I will just watch the reaction with you guys, and I will catch up with your analysis on something else. And I just hope you guys are open to suggestions on content on some really great movies that are considered severely underrated, but I can guarantee you they are not like the fast and the furious series cause that’s not my thing. I’m actually going to recommend one now on the other chat. Let me know what you think about it.❤️
