Yeah I understand being forgiving or being nice to someone dying but davros is responsible for so much death that I would never give him a chance. I remember being so angry the first time I saw this, especially when the doc and davros started laughing together. I was like 'you can't be that naive doctor c'mon!!!' lol. Glad it was just the doctor being clever

2025-03-25 06:45:56 +0000 UTCI took showing mercy to Davros as implanting an understanding of mercy into him, and therefore also the Daleks, since Davros used his own DNA to create them…which ultimately saved Clara, because even as a Dalek she could speak the word ‘mercy’. I felt he returned to young Davros save Clara from himself.
