2025-03-07 00:18:09 +0000 UTCUnsure if this helps but in regards to Rekkai talking about Peter's style of playing the Dr - Before he was Dr Who Peter was well known in the UK for being essentially the lead in a show called 'The thick of it', so a lot of people in England were already aware of PC's style before this role, and although the two characters are very different there are some similarities so part of it (I think) is down to them wanting a bit of that character (Malcolm Tucker) as the Dr, obviously there's tonnes more that goes into the Dr character so this would only be a small element but the insults/forthright style is a bit of a nod (I believe) to that previous show.
