2025-02-15 05:22:25 +0000 UTCTime of the doctor is NOT part of series 8. It is part of the 50th anniversary specials which were at the tail end of Series 7. Series 8 only has 12 episodes. The christmas special after series 8 is counted as part of Series 9

2025-02-14 13:17:24 +0000 UTCInconsequential trivia: at one point the Doctor looks through a database about Robin Hood. There are a number of pictures including a b&w photo. This is a picture of Patrick Troughton who played Robin Hood in a BBC production in 1953.
