GI was after the Doctors dark secret for which JH was the only candidate. JH spoke only in the past tense so it was something from the past he was talking about. The Doc may have mentioned the time war a couple of times in previous episodes I think. Its the only thing we have sketchy information about. By his manner it was something he was distraught about. Destroying Galifrey and the Daleks in one go may be the cause of that. MS was ashamed by whatever JH had done. Even though it was himself. Not every little piddling detail is a spoiler and of major importance. I've seen much worse in these comments without you as head of the spoiler police shoving your ore in. Why haven't you jumped on them? I would keep clear of the youtube comments it may cause a brain injury. Now leave me alone you twonk.

2024-12-08 14:21:23 +0000 UTCYes of course it is? They clearly didn't know who he is on first view, and idk how they were supposed to know. The time War wasnt mentioned at all during this episode. Why reveal something like that in a comment when they clearly haven't seen Night yet? I'd understand if you were telling them this after they'd seen Night but all they've been told is he's a secret and someone who broke a promise but that could mean anything. The Time War is only in New Who... Clearly a spoiler if the very next thing they watch explains who he is and you're just like "oh let me just tell them now because I worked it out first time so they should know now too"

They just didn't pick up on it because of everything else that happened that was closer to their mindset. I understood what was going on my first view. They miss quite a bit because their knowledge is only of New Who. This is their first real step into the expanded world of the show so I think a little help up minor steps doesn't hurt.
