2024-10-01 19:42:29 +0000 UTCWith how rabid the Who fanbase can be, we would've spotted how similar "Mels" and "Melody"s name is as soon as they revealed the baby's name and it would've ruined the reveal at the end. Maybe if they just had her at the wedding dancing with the Doctor? Remember River said, "You always dance at weddings, don't you"

2024-09-27 12:33:02 +0000 UTCI agree with you on Mels lack on previous mentions but she could have been taken by the cracks in the wall early so she would have been forgotten. This means she could only appear post re boot. But I agree that it looked a bit tagged on. My least favourite River story.
