There are not many better Bond films than this & not many villain & villain back stories either. After Quantum they needed to come back swinging & they really did. Love Skyfall😍 Adele also won the Oscar for best original song for Skyfall, the first Oscar for a Bond film in 47 years. The next 2 Daniel Craig themes also won the same award for Spectre & No Time To Die as well.

2024-08-28 17:08:40 +0000 UTCAs I said on the live watchalong, the tube station used in Skyfall (Temple Station) is no longer in service. It closed in 1999 & was Charring Cross Tube station. It is now used a lot for filming and testing on the London Underground. The station itself has been in many films like, London Has Fallen, Paddington, Thor:Dark World, Bourne Ultimatum, Luther & Skyfall. More recently, Morbius was shot there all dressed to look like a NYC Subway Station. If for any reason anyone wants to tour it (your choice) when in London look into "Hidden London tours" run by The London Transport Museum to buy tour tickets for Charring Cross
