"Big up to neurodivergency!" well, not to mention that the Doctor is ADHD personified haha!! Can we accurately label Time Lords with human qualities and disorders, probably, not really... But is RTD/Moffat's Doctor better representation of both the negative AND positive qualities, than most intended neurodiverse characters?? I mean, I think so, and it's been discussion in the fandom for a fair while now. I specifically love the Doctor's passionate sense of justice and fairness, his being quick to both anger/upset AND love/happiness, his problem solving in difficult situations, and his unchecked ego VS his simultaneous deep feelings of inadequacy and guilt. These are all very real qualities of ADHD that are a little less obvious to those without a neurodiverse person in their lives, and make for a much more complex, well-rounded character to observe than the typical ND media archetypes imo. There is good and bad that can come with being a little different, but we all still try to be the best person we can, and that's the Doctor's whole thing! Oh and the episode... the kid is so fun, and so is the Welsh accent. Fun fact, most of Doctor Who is filmed in Wales!
