Project FISH, Dev Log #001

I don't really know how much detail I should go into but while I RELISH the game dev process, my capacity to commit to anything over the last year or so has been shaky to say the least, this dev log is basically me seeing what I can pull out of my arse against the odds, because I know that future me will be glad I tried.
So recently I've been toying around with all the systems that were made for Deathbulge: Battle of the Bands, as I felt there is so much there that could easily double as an invaluable resource for other projects, (especially for someone like me whose tech knowledge is RATHER LIMITED.)
In this particular example, I delved into all the stuff happening when running around hostile landscapes. In the original game, you use Ian's flex to stun enemies so you can avoid them easier. But for this little experiment, I tweaked stuff so that a mob loses 1 health everytime you do it in their proximity and upon hitting 0, they enter a defeated state. The defeated state here being IN LOVE?? I dunno, I just grabbed a random hearts effect to test if it worked cause there are no death poses for the shrubbusher haha. On that note, yes, this is all placeholder, FOR NOW.
Also I threw in a wandering Bocks for no reason other than to finally show off their walking animation, IT'S NEVER SEEN IN THE BLOODY GAME!!
