Added 2017-03-09 22:05:23 +0000 UTCAs soon as I thought this one up my joy of thinking up a good joke was soon overwhelmed with the harrowing knowledge that I would have to draw a crowd of people in every panel. BUT HEY, IT'S IMPORTANT TO CHALLENGE YOURSELF. And I liked how the end result came out considering I kind of half-arsed the crowd, my lazy decision to not colour them all individually made them look more like an ocean which fell into the theme of the comic nicely.
As you can see originally the lifeguard panel was gonna be more action packed with speedlines and full on paddle smash graphics as he hits the guy's face. But I figured it would be much funnier if there was none of that and the canoe guy was just there, sitting clumsily atop the masses, pressing the paddle into the guy's face to move forward.
I suddenly realised how close we're getting to 400. Oh man what will I do?!? Hmm.
