Before you make any deepfakes, make sure your video can be viewed on youtube. Theres nothing worse than spending a lot of time working on a deepfake and then find out that its been blocked on youtube and no one can see it. Avoid this. Make the final cut first. Movies from some studios can be shared with copyright claims without blocks, others cant. Like this one. There are many tricks how you can try to fool the claim id algorithm. sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt.
So here are few tricks:
- the longer the video, the more risky it gets. keep it short.
- you can drop some scenes, swap some scenes, whatever it takes
- you can slow down some scenes [to match music timing / fool content id]
- swap the music. always get 5.1 [or 7.1] version of the movie. sometimes original score is separated from the sound effects and dialog in channels A & B. so you can easily remove the original score.
- what if the music you want to use is blocked? some times you can use a live concert version of the same song, If you want to use the original song, you can slow it down, speed it up, change the pitch or add reverb and try to fool the content id this way.
- use burner account for test uploads. just to keep your channel safe.
- if nothing works, try disputing your edit under fair use law. if its edited enough and youve created a new narrative, its a pretty good chance of winning the dispute. depends on the film studio youre up against.
- im sure there are more tricks waiting to be discovered. its an annoying tedious work but if you dont give up, you can make it work.
