Small update + A BONUS SHORT STORY FOR YALL

Hey! So, I've actually not made much progress on the drawings. There are a few reasons for it! The first is that I'm a very slow artist, the second is that I found myself lacking interest.

This is not a cause of concern; this happens literally all the time with me: I go a few weeks really eager to work on a project, then lose interest for a while, then go back to working on it, then slow down, so on and so forth.

The drawings will eventually get there! But in due time, when I feel like giving them my all. Still, I will be finishing one tomorrow, and I think you're going to like it. (:

There's also a third reason for this slowdown: I might, perhaps, ideally, theoretically... have started drafting something out for a new text adventure. It's supposed to be a shorter one - just to get some other ideas out of the way, and experiment with some different themes before working on the third chapter of Spirit of Hunger. Expect to see some not overly spoilery details going forward.

For now, just know that it's going to be a very different setting.

Ah, right, almost forgot! I was thinking of posting some of the short stories I have written throughout the years on my DeviantArt... but why not place them here first? That way you guys get them, let's say, a month in advance?

Now, many of these will precede the initial release of Emily's Midnight Snack, so beware of that. Some are of an inferior quality, some of simpler themes - all pretty cringy ngl. I was still getting my bearings with writing in English as a whole!

I've yapped enough: the first short story is going to be "The Moderator".
