You can really see their personalities really rub off each other when you see luffy wanting a musician all the way at the beginning of the series because of utas influence and luffys personality grown on Uta, the cheekiness, competitveness and they both have very strong wills. And the similarities of their devil fruits as well both symbolising liberation and freedom Its just too gooddd, I reallyyyy hope for one canon appearance for Uta now that we are entering elbaph territory with the chance the chance of shanks... even just a flashback I'll never understand the mass hate uta got upon release, its like people didnt pay close attention of Utas perspectives... theres so much details left here to type about the movie to go into but people just skipped past it like i get the movie didnt execute it in the best possible way and yes I know almost everyone got mad cus they got baited by shanks promotions for the movie... But no one understood the ideologies planted inside her, and the fact this whole ordeal in a sense was practically her last resort to yearning to see shanks just one last time. Everyone mass hated her for being a 'diva' but genuinely missed the concept that she wasn't and truly never desired to be one and wanted to be with shanks but resorted to become a world known diva cause of her misconception that shanks also said in the movie he'd come pick her up when she became 'the worlds greatest singer' and obviously if you payed attention to her struggles she was using that as her last resort You can read the chronologies of Uta to help you understand a bit that Oda created.
