Just wanna add a little nuance to the "she's disgusting" discourse (1 week later): I think the main reason Skyler fucked Ted at that moment was as a last resort move to get Walter out of the house because she fears for the safety of her children, and rightfully so: not even an hour earlier they almost got axed by the cousins. The first time at least ;) because yes, there was a sexual tension. It's also a way for Skyler to escape a life she feels she has no control on. Sure Walt gave a nice speech before she left, but she's not dumb, she knows he didn't do it only for the family. She knows he refused Eliot and Gretchen's help out of pride. Also the problem with Walter, as we've seen before, is that he can be very manipulative to get what he wants, to convince people he's good and right. When I first watched these episodes when they aired back then, I found Walter so cringe and hard to watch. And I know not everyone agrees on this but if you're filing for divorce, just waiting for your partner to sign the papers, and you sleep around, that's not cheating. If I were in Walter's shoes, yeah it'd make me sick, but it's still legit. If Hank was trying to divorce Marie and she was acting like a lunatic and refusing to sign the papers, I'm sure most people would be ok if he hooked up until it was official :P
