I completely see it as walt frustrated that he now has to keep up with all the lies to his family, when he already said earlier in the episode that hes struggling to keep them all straight in his head

2025-11-06 22:57:59 +0000 UTCI am not an expert, but in my interpretation after Walter gave up, he was relieved. No more struggles, no more lying, it will all come to an end. Often suicide pations are relieved when they finally make the decision. So when the diagnosis was unexpectedly positive, Walter was hit with the realisation that he has to continue dealing with this situation. Nonetheless a very interesting scene!
