Merlin said that she stopped her aging long ago and I think Merlin calling Elizabeth Big Sis might be from when Elizabeth was in her first life 3000 years ago.

If I remember Greyroad's commandment correctly, causing harm in its presence results in the person losing all their time, but since Merlin stopped her time, nothing happened. That was also when we first heard the name of Merlin's father.
