And even if it's "only" 500 people (compared to the 100k that lived that) it lead to Kuma saving them. I do wonder what happened to all celestials there. Did they get stomped by the Roger and Rocks pirates? Or did the holy knights and saturn protect them? I hope it's the former, but fear it's the latter. However we don’t know what for exactly. It’s depicted that the Rocks pirates pulled up for the devil fruits (was that the only reason though? HMMMMM), while Garp came specifically because of Roger. But why did the Roger pirates pull up? (Those caught up with the manga know hehehe). If we have a look at this INSANE PANEL that literally had everyone in a chokehold when it first dropped right here: https://www.reddit.com/r/OnePiecePowerScaling/comments/1iykzbe/which_rocks_pirates_members_do_you_think_were_top/ We see a few people that are kinda shaded out. During the time the panel dropped, lots of people pointed it being individuals like captain john (which we know as a corpse from thriller bark…). We can also see Stussy on whitebeards shoulder, further confirming that the older Buckingham Stussy may NOT be lying when she said whitebeard was her lover & Weevil is their child. Also glad yall peeped our girl Gloriosia (Old granny from Amazon Lily & former ruler of the kuja pirates) being apart of the Rocks pirates! Also when big mom said Kaido shouldn’t have forgotten about the favour she did for him/ life long debt he owes her, she is talking about how she gave Kaido the fish fish fruit to eat. Like imagine if ivankov had actually eaten Kaidos fruit LMAOOO.
