Most do 2 to 3 when the manga is weekly(average 15~20 pages each chapter), when it's monthly(40~50 pages), like for example, Attack on Titan, they do 1 chapter each episode. One Piece (a weekly manga) has been doing 1 or less manga chapter for each episode since Amazon Lily arc, in the 400's, and never got over 1 chapter again. It's never explained, but my guess at times like this is that the target (Kizaru, at this time) used his fruit to remodel his body and avoid the hit, just like Katakuri did against Luffy. Because it's hard to believe experienced fighters like Sentomaru, or even Whitebeard when he stabbed Aokiji in the Marineford Arc, would simply attack logia users without haki.
