Like Jumping bodies orochimaru style. I mean, Brook kinda has a fruit that makes him somewhat immortal. Maybe Imu ate the revive-revive fruit, too -> then died -> the fruit came back -> and in his new body, he ate the fruit again -> rinse and repeat?

So Imu most likely used Uranus, and actually it makes sense because Uranus is the primordial Greek god of the sky and heavens, and Sabo said there was a shadow in the sky.
