I was worried that they'll gonna idle too long on other spots, while egg-head was happening. But honestly, this is just as great - if not even better, to do that right after the betrayal reveal, to keep building the hype up. Now, regarding if Law and Kidd will show up again, I'm on prez' side. Who knows, maybe they even show up to help Luffy in the end, along with the Straw Hat Alliance led by Bartholomew :P (while also being Tsundere about it).
