Something curious for you to know is that there is a chapter that hasn't been adapted that belonged in cour two. There it's depicted Yhwach backstory and an explanation of his powers but they skipped it. So there are theories that they will adapt it for the finale or cour 4 but heavily expanded and with more information of the soul king. Also you missed this line of dialogue but Bazz-B mentioned that Jugram and Yhwach exchange powers while he sleeps, so if he kills him his power is gone. Just to keep that statement in mind for future episodes.
