The way the animated the fight was very lackluster, it the Light Novel it is described as literally blowing Badigadi apart, pieces of him being blown everywhere, and his flesh slowly crawling together to resurrect him.

That is what made Badigadi initiate the challenge he did "hit me with the same attack that wounded the Dragon God" Also the blue haired girl hopefully will be revealed later... 👀
