I don't remember exactly, but I believe the reason why Kirito wanted to stay with Asuna was because he was scared of being by himself that night after what just happened. Also its a lot more clear that they in fact did get together that night. Thats why Asuna was basically naked and covering herself with bed sheet ( I think Kelvin noticed that too) 20:45 speaking of Kelvin: 15:30 LOL
