No spoilers ahead, so you can read it, just some info that didn't get into the anime: The Beast Village ark is quite long in the novels. They skipped a lot of info, for instance Rudeus during these 3 months was helping and rescuing people from monsters and from drowning, when a big wave of enemies came and attacked the village he froze half of the forest down and killed them all off sigle handedly. Also he was practicing how to fly and got both his legs broken because of the rough landing hahaha Also, it was mentioned during the turning point 1 episode, Ghislaine's master is Sword God Gal Farion, the sixth place of the seven world powers, she mentions his name when fighting off Arumanfi at the end of the episode, just before the orb blew up and teleported everyone away.

Rudeus tried learning the beast people's voice magic, which was used on him at the end of episode 13. However, he couldn't quite get the hang of it and instead of paralyzing his target, he makes their fingers a bit numb. Also during that time, Ruijerd became very close to Gustav, the chief. Ruijerd also helped out with spotting monsters as well as fish and because of him there wasn't a single casualty during the rainy season which is usually very dangerous because of flooding.
