On the same page as Prez during halftime. While it is sad, I hope they don't do a Pell here again, as it would make this less impactful. And good thing you mentioned Carrot. This is important for her sake, too. She's still young and a bit naive about the world. A lot like chopper in this regard. And while I do want her to look back on her first adventure with fondness and not trauma, I do hope this will help her mature. PS: We had this theme of inherited will. And it would be awesome to see her carry on Pedro's. Believe in the new dawn, maybe find her own goal, too. Yeah, she'll probably get her ass kicked along the way, but I don't actually mind. Even Luffy did when he started out. I do hope this will be a new starting point for her.

I do feel like Pedro would have wanted to join the Strawhats if given the chance, but he was such a damned bro, making sure they got away over getting to see where Luffy and crew end up.

Almost all of his lifespan was taken away, so he was basically 82 years old and I think he really wanted to die like this. On his own terms, saving people that will bring the dawn to this world. So goated I just feel really bad for Carrot, it's real trauma for her, poor little girlπππ She learned it the hard way, that the world is not all fun and adventures, It can be tragic, dark and hopeless sometimes.
