I’m not defending Rudeus(he’s garbage), but the people around him don’t find his behavior as bad as we do because in their world, and most fantasy stories, people usually get married very young because they don’t always live very long. Our world was like that too in medieval times and further back. Sometimes people seem to forget that these are entirely different worlds with very different morals and concepts.

2024-09-09 12:28:33 +0000 UTCI really can not blame anyone for dropping this show this early. however yeah it doesn't get worse than this. going forward you can REALLY see the development which makes this anime one of the most satisfying (and longest lmao) character growth arcs. IF you can get past the beginning which I can't fault anyone for not being able to.
