[11:35] I was not prepared for that Big Mom parenting scene. And she has children so young, that means recently... *shudders* Guess the pum-pum is real [14:55] Another musical piece? Count me in, I need more of these! [16:45] Oh my god, Prez! 😂 [37:39] Bro, wdym, he just ate the cracker army not long ago 😂

2025-04-25 17:37:27 +0000 UTCI have to agree with you. I feel like while Sanji and Pudding are sweet, Viola and Sanji had a kind of passion that feels more genuine to me. Probably because he was in a better headspace back then as well, so with Viola it didn't feel forced and more natural.

2024-08-16 14:16:25 +0000 UTCI still think Viola would have been a better romantic partner for Sanji if he ever went for one woman to devote his life to, but I do understand why people like Sanji with Pudding.

2024-08-15 17:23:38 +0000 UTCCan I just say that Luffy's voice actress did a fabulous job with belting out that speech? It just hit me again this episode with those little flashbacks. The raw emotion in her voice is crazy.

2024-08-15 16:19:37 +0000 UTCJust like the others said, there is such crazy contrast in Luffy fighting for his promise to be made and Sanji just giving up on everything and finding his "salvation" in Pudding, because in his eyes "there is not a single ally around him", except for her, and her being so genuine and sweet kinda helps him to fill the hole in his heart. Like, we just saw Sanji fully realising that Luffy will stay and will fight, but still giving up on him because he doesn't see any way out of this. We can see it in his eyes that it's a dead end for him and, being cornered like that, he chooses the only option he has: to cling onto this little warm ray of light in his world of darkness: Pudding. I love this so much.

2024-08-15 13:04:12 +0000 UTCI find this last episode always super interesting to see people react to differently, because nothing about that Sanji proposal is wholesome or hopeful to me in the slightest and it initially never occured to me, that many people look at it and think of it that way. Especially with the ominous lightning strikes in the background this to me is one of the sadest and most depressing moments of the whole arc. Sanji with a level of desperation fighting Luffy was heartbreaking because you can feel how much he just wants Luffy to just go away and not have to suffer with him, but here it's just a purely trapped and resigned Sanji who has nothing left he can do and who is giving up everything in that moment, resigning himself to his very personal hell without trying to burden anyone else not even Pudding who feels bad for him. But not even that little bit of empathy/pity etc. from her is something he is willing to except for someone else to go through for him. That proposal to me always boiled down to "I am forced to do this and this is hell to me, but because I can't see you suffer as well, I'll spend my life pretending to be ok to not burden you with my pain, then at least you won't be sad alongside me" It borderline makes me angry how Sanji doesn't even let himself suffer because someone else might be affected as well by just seeing him that way, so he bottles it up all again. Makes me pretty much want to punch it out of that man.

2024-08-15 12:41:29 +0000 UTCI love the juxtaposition of Luffy and Nami resisting, while Sanji just gives up. It feels so tragic. To clarify with Zeus and Prometheus: Those are Homies. She put souls into a sun and a cloud (somehow, don't ask where she got a sun from) and controls the weather with them. Every object that was animated with Big Mom's soul fruit is a Homie, not just the trees and flowers.
