Trebol seems to be like the High Priest to Doflamingo's king, especially with that staff he's leaning on. Not a puppet master. But more of a "spiritual" guide on the path of evil. The devil on his shoulders. Wait a second, he had chains on his feet at [34:14] ! Was he a slave or from a time as a prisoner?

Having kingly ambitions can is a usual sign of possibly having conquerors

2024-05-16 12:59:59 +0000 UTCRemember some episodes back, Luffy, Law , Kyros and Cavendish was fighting about who would take down Doflamingo. -Kyros said he had a 10 year grudge against Doflamingo.(since the attack of dressrosa) -Law said he had a 13 year old grudge. (Since Corazon's death) Meanwhile Luffy had a 30 year old grudge (probably from when Doffy killed his dad)

2024-05-15 08:25:46 +0000 UTCAbout haki: black and red(sometimes other colors) lightnings are mostly used for really strong haki, like Conqueror's Haki (which is sometimes called the Color of the Supreme King" or just the regular armament one (which is sometimes called the Color of Arms), it is really difficult to determine which type of haki the black lightning effect belongs to, you just kinda see it by looking at the actions and the scale and all of that, also it's worth noting that different conqueror's haki users can have specific sounds of their haki being used, for example Luffy has somewhat electric zapping sound while Shanks has that scary piano-like sound (was introduced way back in episode 4 when he scared off the Sea King) But overall these visual effects are just cool looking representations of someone's haki being really powerful and they can be pretty random at times

You can put some of the blame on him since he encouraged and played into Doflamingo's evil nature and god complex. Would Doffy have turned out so bad if he never met Trebol? Considering Corazon grew up to be a good guy in the same situation, or was he already too far gone, its fun to speculate. Peak reactions btw
