In that, Darkness has the features, body, figure, and proportions of Kazuma’s ideal woman. While Kazuma perfectly fits Darkness’ description of her “ideal” man, which is one that will cater to her twisted, masochistic desires. With that in mind, the most I can see them being is—at best—friends with benefits. Or in summary, if Darkness and Kazuma kinda bring out the worst in each other (in terms of their perverse proclivities), then Megumin and Kazuma bring out—for the most part—the best in each other (regarding how they compliment each other mentally and emotionally).
