yeah the bodies they took back are the adventurers group from the dude who got his head caved in, im pretty sure. but you are correct the outcome is still the same for the lizardmen

2024-02-23 11:41:39 +0000 UTCAh youโre right. I guess it was the dead adventurers then? Too lazy to go back and check but he definitely tells Narberal to take some bodies back to Nazarick at some point in the second half of season 1

2024-02-23 11:41:00 +0000 UTCAt the end of season 1 I'm sure they said something along the lines that dead human bodies can only produce level 40 undead and then someone brought up the lizardman as a possible option for stronger undead experiments

2024-02-23 10:11:30 +0000 UTCAinz did not take clementines body, he even states to leave it to the officials so he can get recognized how tough his battle was.

2024-02-23 04:02:14 +0000 UTCalso yeah the last few lines of the end of season 1 i believe albedo told ains that they found a lizardman villiage and it seemed like they were planning to kill them and use them as an army

2024-02-23 00:45:39 +0000 UTCin the first season when ains takes clementines corpse to do experiments with creating undead they found out that humans can only create undead up to level 40. one of the floor guardians (cant remember who right now) said they found some lozardmen that could be used for experimentation. ains doesn't have an issue with them he's just trying to expand his knowledge of this world's magic and his new undead mindset has made him much more rational and emotionless when it comes to decision making

2024-02-22 22:48:03 +0000 UTCit was discussed i think on the last ep of S1 that the humans they tried to make undeads were pretty low leveled. i think they initially wanted to try making the lizardmen into undead as experiment to see if they'll be able to summon higher level ones

2024-02-22 21:54:18 +0000 UTCIt was at this point another reactor team looked at each other and asked the question "Wait, are we the bad guys?" Last episode when you made the distinction between Supreme One and Great One, I thought the writing had truly steered you wrong and am anticipating seeing the revelation take place. 5:20 the big pot is one of the treasures of the Lizard men, like Frost Pain. The pot is a never ending supply of wine but of poor quality, perfect for a celebration (or frat party). 9:50 And the revelation strikes! 15:00 Demiurge got a message while talking to Cocytus, could it have been Ains telling Demiurge not to coach Cocytus? The Elder Lich was raised by Ains from the adventurer that Mare killed last season, notice the caved in skull? 22:20 At the end of episode 12 Albedo mentions Aura has found a village of lizard men whe Ains was contemplating raising an army of undead. Humans used to become an undead can only go up to level 40, but most demi-humans are stronger than humans so the lizard men should become undead greater than level 40.
