The main issue I have with Castlevania season 2 is that the main characters are almost kind of sidelined and the villains get a lot more screentime compared to them. That's problematic when episodes are only around 30 min long and nothing much is happening but lengthy dialogue. I like the villains a lot and the disagreement between Hector/Carmilla and Isaac/Dracula is interesting, but I wish they gave the main characters the same time to develope a united front against their enemies as they spent on cementing Dracula's side of things. Castlevania could have been a really great show with more episodes per season perhaps or longer episodes. Still love the sound design and animation though, so I still had fun rewatching the first two seasons. Thank you for checking it out and being honest about what you think about the show.

Although slow, I find Castlevania to be a stellar show that keeps getting better with each season, and there aren't a lot of other shows that are so polished in terms of voice acting, sound design, animation and (most of the time) writing. I enjoy the way too long conversations and the clinically depressed Dracula a lot, but I absolutely respect if you didn't vibe with it.
