To answer your question in the beginning of "How do you know when that's going to happen?" about the spoilers for season 4: This anime is an adaptation of a Light Novel series with the same name. They have been adapting roughly 3 Light Novels per season of the anime, so those that know the plot of the LNs know what season certain events will happen. There are 21 LNs currently so basically those of us that have read all of them know the plot for the next 5 seasons. We know the general plot and events, but not how it will be adapted. I am not defending spoiling things for anime only watchers, people who do that suck. I am just answering the question.

There are more inventions and products, including a lot of food products that the light novels detail the development and marketing of. For the brandy in particular, the author took some time describing how much trial-and-error was involved in creating a drink that Rimuru could say rivaled the brandy back in Earth.
