One Piece Episode 568, 569

Comments

1:00 YES! We're getting lore piece now. Love how they incorporated those sea kings from the 1st OP. 3:44 Ohh, is that what Rayleigh meant in Sabaody? About Roger being able to hear the voice of the world, which enable him to translate the Poneglyphs? 12:53 Shirahoshi is my MvP for this Arc. She really grew on me. 15:08 What a beautiful scene and track. I think this might be my favourite from this arc. 24:38 Love that Zoro uses Luffy's hero analogy, but with sake instead of meat 😂 36:18 It's so sweet seeing Nami sharing a drink with the prince of the merfolk. I think this arc helped her a lot with closure, too! 46:20 100% agree. It is great. In terms of world building, villains, foreshadowing.... and it's also why I think this arc is a little underrate. Yes, the villain sucked, agreed, but aside from that I really enjoyed it!

Peter Butchens

Also I genuinely think that Hordy is probably the worst villain in this show (after Wapol's trash-ass of course), and it gets so much better I can't wait for the upcoming arcs LFG

After seeing Chopper resting his ass on Robin's lap, I'm happy that his bounty is 50 damn berries

PEAK JOY BOY MENTIONED🗣️🗣️🗣️ And the blood transfusion scene... one of the most beautiful in the entire show, the symbolism, the message, the music, the feeling of connection between humans and fishmen, even for a little tiny minuscule moment that really sets the new beginning for all the fishmen, so good

soulieproud

I still think Skypiea was one of the best arcs of One Piece, despite the fanbase hating on it so much back in the day. It doesn't seem to be as despised nowadays, but... Yeah. XD

Cloud Kitsune

I think Jamon is sad because now HIS daughter is tasked with wsomething very important/heavy on her hands. We don['t know what that could be. Also the whole Poseidon thing and the transfusion and all that completed this arc for me as one of my favorites! LEGIT so many amazing moments despite being a slow arc with a crappy villain

Dachi

Its true that we always fear of the unknown.

Rattakarn Pratumyos

Tom did NOT built or write the blueprint. It was passed down to him because the ship was originally built in water7 during void history. To build Pluton, it will need skills of shipwrights of water7 and ancient script reader like Robin working together.

Rattakarn Pratumyos

SUPER hyped for y'all to see the last couple of episodes to this arc.

Grandmasta

It is such a symbolic and impactful moment, they did an incredible job with it.

Grandmasta

you should go back and look at the skypia backstory sceen where they are about to sacrafice the girl to the big snake, i believe the first time you see her she mentions some gods i believe. i love how you are on team skypia, it took a while for me to understand it's connections (watching over years and years ya forget things) but indeed. skypia is like a snapshot of certain things from the past. it's one of the best arcs for sure

marlanes

The whole idea of fishman island is racism and prejudice towards other races. That's why transferring blood is fromso important.

Rattakarn Pratumyos

Tom didn't build the blueprints. They were passed down by the creator in case another one was needed to counter the already built one. Tom was just the last inheritor of those blueprints.

Eric Miller

Something to think about as to why would luffy destroy fishman island. Fishman is the pitstop to the New World, meaning it sits at the intersection between the grandline and the redline...

Andre Goh

As a weapon Poseidon is pretty insane in this world where most of nations are islands and there is no real commercial air travel. You could really destroy any nation you wanted to by just be preventing them from going out to sea.

Bj Howe

Actually we know about Poseidon from Skypiea, it was mentioned on poneglyph

Alex D Sinn

Actually Pluton was first mentioned in Alabasta as Crocodile's goal.

Paldrun

So now you’ve heard of two weapons. Pluton was mentioned back in the water seven arc / alabasta and now you know of Poseidon!

rougezapato

Quick refresher: another ancient weapon called Pluton was revealed in Alabasta and touched upon more in Water 7/Enies Lobby. It was supposedly a massive battleship that Franky's mentor Tom built blueprints for in case the actual Pluton was revived, blueprints that were destroyed by Franky
