2023-11-25 05:35:11 +0000 UTCGreat reaction as always. I do agree that the multiverse stuff gets kinda overused by some things. Although I think MCU is the main reason of the fatigue. Like there was the Everything Everywhere All at Once movie that while I haven't personally seen, deals with multiverse but people liked that. Some shows also just got unfortunate timing. Like Invincible is an old-ish comic so it just so happens that they reach multiverse in the show at the peak of MCU multiverse fatigue. Personally haven't read Invincible but heard they deal with the multiverse really well so I don't think you have anywhere to worry about. There is also a certain Cartoon Network show (will leave unmentioned in case of a possible reaction to keep spoiler free) that has a multiverse thing for a long time but it wasn't exactly a huge focus (just a few episodes in the show) until semi recently. Still really well dealt with though. I personally like the idea of a multiverse but it just has to be creativly used
