One Piece Episode 515, 516

My take on Shanks losing an arm has always been that he didn't have the time to save both Luffy and his arm. He's strong, but he can't teleport... as far as I know. So he swam as fast as he could and threw himself over Luffy just as the sea beast was attacking. That's why I feel like it is one of the points where the live-action adaptation fails a bit. Because the action is a lot more drawn out there, and it is made much more obvious that Shanks is using haki.

Personally, I prefer Nami and Robin's designs before the timeskip, but that's just a preference thing. XD I also just like short hair best... Though, I think Shanks wasn't nearly as strong as he was back when he gave Luffy his hat. He had the potential of Conqueror's Haki, but I really don't think he had control of it then. That being said, CONGRATS on reaching the end of the first half~! So excited to see how the journey goes for you both. X3

I still think oda wasted boa her potential by turning her into a simping comic relief character. I think it would have made a far better story if boa and her two sisters would have trained luffy. They know and mastered each of the haki forms among them. Otherwise looking forward to the post timeskip changes. I wonder what ur thoughts are on them. P.s. waiting patiently for those next korra drops now.

When Zoro fought Mr. 1 and was close to death, he tapped into both observation and armament haki. I highly recommend re-watching the end of that fight now that all 3 haki types have been formally introduced, it hits different!

In the anime, there was no break between 516 and 517, but the manga had a 5-week break (if I remember correctly) between this part and the next chapter.
