to this day. I love Namis story the most. It was at a time were the powercreep wasnt out of control. The way it showed her utter defeat and then the help me. The walk. To me. This whole moment cemented them as a crew.

2023-09-16 12:43:12 +0000 UTCAbout Jimbei: in the manga/anime he gets mentioned not by Arlong but by Yosaku by name when he's on the boat with Sanji and Luffy. In episode 5 of the live action, they had Helmeppo tell Koby about the Warlords, in the anime that is all explained by Yosaku to Luffy and Sanji on the way to Arlong Park. He essentially tells them what they are, that Mihawk who they just met is one and that Arlong used to be an associate of Jimbei who is also one of them to warn them of how dangerous Arlong might be. (There sometimes is also a bit of a misunderstanding because there are apperently some translations that make it sound almost like Arlong is another Warlord)
