So people celebrating might seem harsh, but from their perspective (and limited knowledge) it's a big relief. 31:12 I mean, Luffy looked like he got along better with Margaret than Hancock. Would be wild (and hillariious) if he'd end up with her instead.

That being said, "useless" Kid cracks me up. This part of the series is so hard, for Luffy emotionally. D= One Piece really captures loss sooooo well, it's surprising not many shows, especially anime, have been able to capture it to this degree.

But you also notice that whitebeard being gone and his final message to world has significant impact on the world. Yeah an emperor died but now pirates all over are motivated to capture new territory and truly seek the one piece.
