It's heartbreaking to watch even without understanding why Luffy, who is the one the strawhats rely on, is suddenly the one who naturally relies on someone else.

2023-08-06 09:58:32 +0000 UTCHad to make a sec comment to say two more points, sorry again, probably last time you gonna see me comment this much😂 Kelvin said that Ace is on his full health after being freed, i just wanna remind you that the vivre card is an indication for the owner's health, when Ace gave Luffy the card it was full on paper, but ever since Thriller Park the card was less than a quarter even, meaning that Ace in this entire time he's less than a quarter of his true powers and was left untreated for so many days, the reason i'm saying this is bc a lot of ppl hate on him for being "weak" bc he hadn't had any W's second thing, i just have to say this even though you guys already know this, but Akainu is the one who blew up the ship of survivals in Robin's flash back before becoming an admiral even, Akainu since day one he's the biggest asshole out there, and he just doesn't stop on being such an ass character anyways, W reaction, W Prez Kelvin, Rest in peace Ace

2023-08-05 23:31:50 +0000 UTCSorry in advance for the long comment first off congratulations on reaching the ep without being spoiled the number 1 spoiler that most anime fans know about even if they haven't watched OP, so yeah that's that Now, honestly, seeing you guys listening to the saddest opening TWICE just before witnessing Ace's death is heartbreaking, and speaking of heartbreaking, back in the days of water 7 you guys will always mention Ace and get excited whenever you do see him, and you'll say stuff like " we miss you man" knowing DAMN WELL he's gonna die is just....😭😭😭 i mean Prez you said it yourself just now "i'm not ready for what about to happen" it's almost like this's actually your sec time reacting to OP lol anyways i gotta tell you guys that you gonna encounter some hate comments on Ace bc apparently it's more popular to hate on him in this fandom than Akainu who's literally the cause, it's baffling honestly. in Ace's defense, Ace's main death cause is his sacrifice NOT the fact that he turned around, i do admit that wasn't the best thing to do, but he did it for a solid reason, ppl hate on him bc he had bad luck, he got consequences, while Luffy here literally does the stupidest choices out of pure stupidity, now i'm not hating on Luffy, but Luffy does way much stupider stuff that could endangered his whole crew but no one talks about that bc he's got plot armor, while Ace was just trying to do the right thing, i think he said that in one of the previous eps, him going after BB and always trying to protect WB's name and pride, you really can't blame him, Akainu is smart. he knows how to manipulate by using REAL actually happening facts and twisting them anyways i'm glad you guys blamed akainu as any sane person would, as for Luffy i really liked what you said Prez, about him being a like a child focusing on his toy and not his surroundings and his "mom" would come to the rescue😭💔

2023-08-05 08:44:41 +0000 UTC41:22-42:25 is so perfect with you doing this duo reaction. The "Let's go" and "No, No, Ace stop" perfectly summarizes that scene to me. It's like the little angel and the little devil on your shoulder you have to decide between. A lot of people always get angry with Ace for being so "stupid" to turn around there, and while I agree he totally shouldn't have, I also totally get it. He had to sit there this whole time and watch helplessly how Whitebeard (and everyone else) took all this onto him, took the blame for Ace setting out after Blackbear even though he knows it's a lie and he told him not to go and how everyone is risking their lifes for him. And now he is supposed to just turn around and save himself while Whitebeard is staying behind, ready to die for his sons and his name getting dragged through the mud as if this means nothing. It's like my brain gets it on every level why it's a silly provokation you don't need to listen to, but man do I still get it.
